OUR TEACHERS

Coartney Cooper

Coartney was born in Atlanta GA, and has been living in Nashville for four years. Coartney first started practicing yoga in 2017 after being introduced to a local studio by a friend. She fell so in love with the practice that she obtained her 200-hour Vinyasa Certification in 2020 as well as completing the 200-hour Hot 26 training in 2021. Coartney loves the Mind and Body connection that yoga has created in her everyday life and hopes to share this unity and love with others.

Katie Ford

Katie believes that yoga is not about how flexible you are or even how in shape you are, it’s about becoming comfortable enough with yourself to sit in silence, to move with your breath, and to create space where there once was none. Kick off Sunday Funday with Katie and an upbeat 60-minute Vinyasa Yoga Flow featuring a high-energy playlist. You will be guided through strong sequences of traditional Sun Salutations and standing postures to build strength and endurance.

Miranda Fuller

Your yoga practice is unique to you, just like your fingerprints and handwriting, which is a beautiful thing! Miranda encourages students to listen to their bodies, have fun, and above all “be a friend to yourself” when trying anything new or challenging.

Miranda began practicing yoga in 2001 at Unity Woods Yoga Center in Washington, D.C., a studio focused on the teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar. Through this study, she learned that yoga is for any and every body. In 2014 a friend invited her to a Vinyasa class and she was immediately hooked.

Miranda enjoys the foundation of Iyengar and the creative, faster pace of Vinyasa. She received her 200 RYT Vinyasa certificate from Rising Wolf Yoga School in 2020 and teaches at Hot Yoga of East Nashville and Small World Yoga. In 2023, she acquired her 30-hour Kid’s Yoga teaching certificate. Miranda will complete her 300 RYT in May 2024 with Hot Yoga of East Nashville.

Alexis Jones

Be ready to get out of your head and into your body with this creative Vinyasa-style power flow! Breaking away from traditional sequencing, this class is designed to flow with the beat of the music where you will fluidly move through creative transitions, strength drills, (and even a little dance moves if the music calls for it)! This class is open to all levels by offering modifications for beginners & options to advance into arm balances, binds, or inversions if it is a part of your practice! Expect a vibe-y playlist with a little hip-hop + be ready to unleash your inner goddess and feel empowered.

Alexis is a lover of all movement and music! She grew up in competitive gymnastics and dance and discovered her love of teaching movement and body mechanics in 2013. She is a 200hr RYT, certified personal trainer and barre instructor who loves bringing strength drills, fun, and empowerment through education into her classes. She takes her playlists seriously ;) to create a trance vibe to help you get out of your mind, into your body and hopefully learn something new about your body while you’re at it.

Alexandra Moga

Alexandra’s yoga journey began in childhood, when during summer breaks in Romania she would meditate alongside her aunt who taught her practices in forgiveness, focused breathing, and energetic visualization. In her teens, she took her first yoga asana class and was hooked–finding the practice perfectly suited her passion for movement and dedication to spirituality. After four years of university in Paris, she returned home to New York City where she’s immersed herself in the yogic path since 2010.

Alexandra’s classes are dynamic and uplifting, weaving together creative sequencing, intuitive alignment, mind-balancing breath-work, the science of Kundalini, and poetic prompts informed by the Bhakti path to invoke a deep inner connection. She bows to the many teachers and students who have guided her ever-closer to understanding and offering the magic of yoga.
