Better Bus
- 5-year plan for bus service improvement as part of the City Transportation Plan
- Includes earlier + later services, new connections and transit centers, updated stops + access improvements
- Estimates a 7% service level increase
QuickTicket + Fare Capping
- QuickTicket digital account will promote Fare Capping — an initiative that will promote equity by providing discounts on daily + monthly passes
Route modification, extensions + additions
- Simplify service by altering the routes of 5 Bellevue + 22 Bordeaux
- Extend Route 17 12th Avenue South to connect to Route 7 Hillsboro + the new Hillsboro Transit Center opening this fall
- Add a 79 Skyline route that will connect Hunters Lane High School, Dickerson Road Walmart, Skyline Medical Center, Madison Library + potentially Opry Mills.
Expanded service hours
- Frequent Network + some Local Routes will begin at 5:15 a.m. on Saturdays
- Later services for Frequent Network routes will go from 11:15 p.m.-12:15 a.m. on weekdays, 10:15 p.m.-12:15 a.m. on Saturdays + 9:15 p.m.-11:15 p.m. on Sundays
- Most Local Routes’ Later Service will extend to 11:15 p.m. 7 days a week
WeGo Link
- New South Nashville service that will transport riders to bus stops via its Mobility on Demand pilot program
- Serves Nashboro Village, Bell Road + Murfreesboro Pike
