It’s a well-known fact, pumpkin spice lattes and other seasonal drinks signal the unofficial beginning of fall + local coffee shops have already started rolling out a variety of cozy beverages.
Whether you’re loyal to pumpkin or enjoy other seasonal flavors, we’ve rounded up 9 local cafes and coffee shops to get your fall drink fix. Pro tip: most beverages are available hot or iced for those chilly mornings and warm afternoons.
- Bagelshop, 401 Union St. | Pair your pumpkin spice and s'mores lattes with the shop’s new pumpkin french toast bagel.
- District Coffee, 2927 Sidco Dr. | The customer favorite autumn toffee latte is back on the menu along with trail mix, caramel apple, and pumpkin pie lattes.
- Honest Coffee Roasters, 3820 Charlotte Ave. | The L&L Market location will soon feature a fall time latte made with juiced sweet potatoes and pumpkin pie seasoning.
- Just Love Coffee, 1528 Demonbreun St. + other locations | Just Love got an early start on its autumn offerings with last month’s debut of pumpkin and lumberjack lattes — the latter made with maple, cinnamon, and caramel flavors.
- Red Bicycle, 2190 Nolensville Pk. | Seasonal drinks are back at Red Bicycle’s Woodbine location, including pumpkin pie and campfire lattes, pumpkin cream cold brew + chaider (a chai latte and apple cider blend).
- The Loading Dock, 2028A Lindell Ave. | Order a Campfire at Dusk latte with a graham cracker rim if you love s’mores, or sip on the cafe’s pumpkin pie latte until the end of October.

- Nashville CARES will provide free rapid COVID-19 testing on Wed., Sept. 15 ahead of this weekend’s Nashville Pride festival, which requires attendees be fully vaccinated or show proof of a negative COVID-19 test. The drive-thru testing site at 633 Thompson Ln. will be open from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. (The Tennessean)
Cause
- The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee announced it has raised $1.7 million for recovery efforts in the aftermath of last month’s devastating flood event. The first round of grants totaling $200,000 will be distributed to nonprofits in Humphreys, Dickson, Houston, and Hickman counties.

- Nashville Ballet will kick off its 2021-2022 season with "Peter Pan" at TPAC's Jackson Hall on Oct. 8-10. Tickets are now on sale. 🩰
