#NASHTODAY
Nashville-based father + son duo Gaines Sturdivant II and III have published a children’s book inspired by the love and kindness shown by two local Waffle House associates. 📖
“A Waffle Can Change the World” tells the story of Terrie and Dawn — two employees of the breakfast chain’s Sidco Drive location. Written through the eyes of a six-year-old, the book reads, “My friends inspire me, and they’ll inspire you. Reading this tale may spread the kindness, too.”
Proceeds from the book will benefit The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee’s “A Waffle Can Change the World Fund,” which supports non-profit organizations engaged in youth enrichment services and education. #DYK that your photos and quotes could be featured in our newsletter?
