Nashville comedian Ben Oddo conducts photojournalistic interviews with residents of Blakeford Senior Life that are 70+ years old. The heartwarming podcast gives listeners a glimpse into their past and present — from first loves, influential careers, local history, family stories, and joint pain. - Junior League of Nashville is hosting a book drive during September through a partnership with Parnassus Books. The books, written by Hispanic authors in honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month, can be purchased on Parnassus’ website and will be donated to local nonprofit Book'Em. 📚

- A new mural in Waverly depicts 7-month-old twins Ryan and Rileigh — 2 of the youngest victims of the recent flood. The painting by Texas-based artists Brittany Johnson and Efren Rebugio can be found on the front wall of The Walls Art Park. (WTVF)
